Vasectomy

Vasectomies at Ashfields

Who Provides the Service?

NHS vasectomy clinics are held at Ashfields Primary Care Centre. The service is led by Dr Rosson and Dr Gowda, two GP Partners.

Who can Refer to the Service?

Vasectomy referrals are accepted from all South Cheshire and Vale Royal practices, therefore you must be registered with one of these surgeries prior to your GP’s referral.

How can I Arrange a Referral?

Firstly, you will need an appointment with your own GP. Your consultation with your GP will serve as the counselling process. During this appointment your doctor will explain the vasectomy procedure in detail and answer any questions you may have. If you decide to proceed, your referral will then be sent to Ashfields Primary Care Centre.

During your consultation your doctor will provide you with the Patient Information Booklet, a link is provided below. This booklet provides more detail about the procedure, what to expect on the day and post operative procedures.

How do I Arrange the Appointment?

You’ll need to arrange your own vasectomy appointment. Once you have read the information booklet, give the Ashfields Primary Care Centre a call on 01270 446560 option 4 – our team will be happy to answer any questions and help you book your appointment. Please ensure you have your 12 digit Unique Booking Reference Number (UBRN) to hand, this will be provided by your own GP once they have made the referral.
