Vasectomies at Ashfields
Who Provides the Service?
NHS vasectomy clinics are held at Ashfields Primary Care Centre. The service is led by Dr Rosson and Dr Gowda, two GP Partners.
Who can Refer to the Service?
Vasectomy referrals are accepted from all South Cheshire and Vale Royal practices, therefore you must be registered with one of these surgeries prior to your GP’s referral. Please see the link below to see if your practice is within South Cheshire and Vale Royal.
How can I Arrange a Referral?
Firstly, you will need an appointment with your own GP. Your consultation with your GP will serve as the initial counselling process. During this appointment your doctor will explain the vasectomy procedure and answer any questions you may have. If you decide to proceed, your referral will then be sent to Ashfields Primary Care Centre.
During your consultation your doctor will provide you with the Patient Information Booklet, a link is provided below. This booklet provides more detail about the procedure, what to expect on the day and post operative procedures.
How do I Arrange the Appointment?
Once your GP has referred you via the Electronic Referral System (ERS), your referral will be triaged and you will be contacted by a member of our team to book your appointment.
